Hockey. They invented it, they have the best players, and so on. They have some of the greatest hockey players in the world, no doubt. They have some of the greatest curling players too. You know what those two sports have in common besides ice? Only about five other nations play them. Leave it to Canada to pick something no one else plays to make their ace of aces sport. Dont get me wrong though, I love hockey. Its great. They dont have a hockey mind of their own though. Don Cherry tells them whats right and wrong. They all sat on the fence about Crosby until Don Cherry started liking him because he hated Ovie more (because he's russian). Three years ago it wasnt cool in Canada to root for Crosby, now it is because Don likes him.
